SRS and SBRT

Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) is a highly precise form of radiation therapy used to treat brain tumors and abnormalities. A non-surgical procedure, SRS delivers a single, high-dose of precisely targeted radiation, minimizing exposure to healthy tissue. SRS is a highly effective alternative to invasive surgery.

Stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) is a form of radiosurgery that delivers highly focused radiation with pinpoint accuracy to tumors in the lungs, liver, spine and other areas of the body. SBRT is often used to treat tumors that have recurred in patients after radiotherapy or when a tumor is next to, or within, an organ that is very sensitive to radiation. Its precision accuracy treats small tumors with less damage to healthy tissue. SBRT is performed using Trilogytm, which provides similar treatment to gamma knife procedures.
