French Onion Soup

Ingredients
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 lb yellow onions, sliced
1 gal water
2 Tbsp + 2-1/4 tsp beef base, Minor's
2 Tbsp + 2 tsp chicken base
1/4 cup Burgundy wine
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano leaves, dried
1 tsp basil leaves

Directions
Heal oil in pan. Add onions; saute until onions are caramelized. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 1/2 hour.
