Tuna in Lime Sauce

Serves 4

 

Ingredients

3 ozs. fresh coriander

3 tbsps. fresh ginger, peeled and sliced

2 cloves of garlic, peeled

3 tbsps. freshly squeezed lime juice

1 tbsps. olive oil

2 tsps. turmeric

4 medium tuna steaks (about 6 ounces each)

 

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°. Combine the coriander, ginger, and garlic in a food processor and blend

to make a paste, add water if necessary. Mix lime juice, olive oil, and turmeric and stir mixture into the ginger paste.

Place tuna steaks in a baking dish and coat with paste. Cover and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until

tuna is just cooked through.

 

Suggestion: Serve with fresh, lightly steamed vegetables.
